Tofu Tikka

Prep time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 35 minutes
Baking temperature: 400°F
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 20 Tofu cubes or cottage cheese cubes

  • 1/2 cup thick curd

  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste/ 1 teaspoon Cold Grind ginger powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste/ 1 teaspoon Cold Grind  garlic powder

  • 2 teaspoon Cold Grind red chilli powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind garam masala

  • 1 teaspoon Cold Grind coriander powder/ 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

  • 1 teaspoon Cold Grind tandoori spice

  • 1 tablespoon gram flour (garbanzo flour)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • salt to taste


Directions:

  • In a bowl add thick curd, garlic powder/paste, red chilli powder, fenugreek leaves, garam masala, coriander powder, tandoori spice, flour, oil and salt and mix well.

  • Add tofu cubes into the bowl and mix well. Keep the bowl aside for 15 minutes.

  • Arrange the tofu cubes on the wire rack the place it on a baking tray and grill in a pre-heated oven at 400°F for 30 minutes. (Tip: You may also use skewers)

  • Remove from the oven and serve hot :)
