Golden Milk
Turmeric Tea

Servings: 2


Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups of milk of choice (almond, coconut, dairy)

  • 1 teaspoon Cold Grind Turmeric powder/ granules

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind cinnamon powder / 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 teaspoon raw honey

  • a pinch of Cold Grind black pepper

  • tiny piece of fresh, peeled ginger root or 1/4 teaspoon Cold Grind ginger powder


Directions: 

  • Using  a mortar and pestle, crush the cinnamon stick and ginger root ( or use a grinder).

  • Add milk into the saucepan and bring it to a boil.

  • Reduce the heat.

  • Now add Cold Grind Organic turmeric and stir immediately

  • Whilst stirring add black pepper, honey and crushed ingredients.

  • Remove the tea from the heat and strain into a teapot or directly into the serving cups and drink immediately :) ​


Turmeric Tea (without milk)​
Servings: 2 
Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups of water

  • 1 teaspoon Cold Grind Organic Turmeric powder/ granules

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind Organic cinnamon powder/ 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 teaspoon raw honey

  • a pinch of Cold Grind Organic black pepper

  • tiny piece of fresh, peeled ginger root or 1/4 teaspoon Cold Grind Organic ginger powder


Directions: 

  • Using  a mortar and pestle, crush the cinnamon stick and ginger root ( or use a grinder).

  • Add water into the saucepan and as it starts to boil; add Cold Grind Organic turmeric, black pepper, honey and crushed ingredients.

  • Reduce the heat and let it boil for another 1-2 minutes

  • Remove the tea from the heat and strain into a teapot or directly into the serving cups and drink immediately :) 

  • Tip: Its preferred to add some kind of fat to your plain turmeric tea in the end such as 1 tablespoon of coconut milk / almond milk as it increases absorption.
