Golden Milk
Turmeric Latte

Servings: 2


  • 2 cups of water

  • a mini prep bowl of Cold Grind Turmeric 

  • 1-2 tablespoon organic coconut oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind black pepper

  • 2 cups of coconut milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind cinnamon powder/ 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind ginger powder/ small grated ginger root

Make the turmeric paste-

  • Boil water in a saucepan and reduce the heat. Now slowly add turmeric whilst stirring and let the water boil until a thick paste forms but keep stirring from time to time.

  • Turn off the heat and add coconut oil and black pepper and mix gently.

  • Tip: You will only need 1 tablespoon full of this turmeric paste and the extra turmeric paste can be stored in a glass jar in the fridge for future use. 

For Latte-

  • Add coconut milk into another saucepan and keep the heat on medium.

  • Now add 1 tablespoon full of turmeric paste you made and cinnamon powder (or cinnamon stick) and ginger powder (fresh grated ginger) and stir constantly until the paste and spices dissolve

  • Slow simmer the heat and let it steep for about 5 minutes.

  • Strain the contents into your mug and serve it hot. Enjoy your healthy Latte :)

  • Tip: You can always edit the ingredients according to your taste. For example: add 2 cardamom pods for some  more sweetness in your latte or 2 cloves/ a pinch of black cardamom powder can spice up your latte a bit! :D
