Tava (Pan) Mushroom

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 35 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour

  • 6 cups fresh mushroom (halves)

  • 1/2 cup grated onions

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste/ 1/2 teaspoon Ganesha Foods ginger powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste/ 1/2 teaspoon Ganesha Foods garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon Cold Grind  red chilli powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind garam masala

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind cumin powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cold Grind coriander powder 

  • 1/2 cup fresh tomato pulp

  • 2 tablespoon fresh cream

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • salt to taste


Directions:

  • In a bowl add mushrooms and sprinkle all purpose flour and keep aside.

  • Heat oil in a pan, add grated onions and sauté until golden brown. Turn the heat to medium.

  • Add Cold Grind Organic ginger and garlic powder (ginger and garlic paste) and sauté for a minute.

  • Now add Cold Grind Organic cumin powder, garam masala, coriander powder and red chilli powder and cook for another minute. 

  • Add fresh tomato pulp and mix until it thickens.

  • Then add mushrooms, dried fenugreek leaves. Sprinkle salt on top and cook for a while.

  • Sprinkle some water to prevent the mix from sticking to the pan.

  • Remove from the flame and add fresh cream on top.

  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy :)
